Default TCS question

I recently got a Z, and it is an automatic... i know shadyy. The one thing thats bugging me about it is i cant do a burn out. Even if the TCS is off, it still kicks in and doesnt do anything. Is there a certain way or procedure i need to follow?

Don't pay any attention to davidv above, he likes to post garbage on new members' threads.

What happens is that all newer nissan and infiniti vehicles cut engine power when the brakes and the gas are both pushed at the same time. You won't be able to burn out without pulling the abs fuse out of the fuse box. Make sure to plug it back in when you're done, as your brake lights won't come on at all.

instead of a brake stand burnout.. just turn the wheel all the way and smash the gas.. you'll burn out in circles and it'll look much cooler... LOL

Nope. That's the truth. And OP's question isn't stupid. Most people aren't aware of the feature that cuts the power. It's a legitimate question.

It’s a question that has been asked and answered hundreds of times and if I bothered to look at the top 100 questions (top of page) I bet it’s in there too. I hope you newbie’s who are laying rubber everywhere have priced new tires and are saving for them….

IMO, if you wanted to burn out, i would have bought a manual, its way easier than in an auto...even a 95HP civic can do somewhat of a burn out if its a manual...

burnouts are overrated unless your on slicks :-D
