Finished my Vortech Supercharger install yesterday. Man, kinda a PITA. Especially the piping but everything fit with some fiddling. Will be making my way to get her tuned tomorrow.

Nice man! What other performance mods do you have? What psi are you going to try to tune to?
Not what I did, but what my Z did to me lol. The driver side rear axle snapped, one that I just replaced. So I guess that's the project for tomorrow, or later today I should say. Pics will follow once it is light out.

Here's pics. Didn't take any of new part because we all know what an axle looks like. But this just surprised me. Looks like a clean cut lol. Oh well all is fixed.
Installed fuel pump and 1000CC injectors. Been sitting for 5 months, now she wont start up, so been trouble-shooting all weekend with no luck.
That's messed up!
Almost makes me feel guilty for telling y'all what I did to one of my cars today....
Uhhhh, well, I didn't touch it mechanically, didn't wash it, didn't put anythng new in other than a new CD in the player.... But I DID attack Hwy 9 and drove it as it was intended.
21 miles in, coffee break. What the he$$, it was 7:30 in the morn, OK?! And that serving tray rear spoiler was juuuuuust perfect for my cup o'jo! Sheesh, gimme a break!
"But officer, the sign said 50.... no really, look at it again.... sir.... ohhhhhhh, ooops." Seriously though, my sixth sense kicked in as I was coming into Boulder Creek (on the south end of Hwy 9, just before Santa Cruz). Slowed to limits 45 then 35 then 25 as I was passed by the sheriff and some other local LEOs heading the opposite direction.
Disclaimer/Special Note: I am a safe driver regardless of any perceived "curvy road heroics" on my part. I advise anyone else to do the same and exercise common sense. If there are other cars on the road, let 'em get ahead. If there's any inkling of human or animal activity anywhere NEAR the road, slow down. I'm serious.
On the return trip from Santa Cruz later in the morning, had a bit of a sporting run with an M3 who approached behind me pretty fast. While I usually wind down/relax on the backside trip, I figured if he wanted to play, welllllll.... Ran up to the junction pulling away then halfway down the hill to Saratoga where I was eventually slowed by a few cars in front and he caught up shortly. When I pulled over to the cafe to refill my coffee, Bimmer passed and gave me a thumbs up and a nod. Excellent.
In my "comparison post" between my '03 and my Niz, I went on about how much "softer" and "civilized" the black one is but lawd have muhcy, the thing flies as fast in stock form as my '03 with full suspension. And the other thing I noticed today is that it truly is more forgiving when the driver, ahem, makes small mistakes (due most likely to the tires).
Conclusion: Gotta get me some new tires and wheels for the '03.
Got her resolved and fired her up. Ordered a few little things, screws and fasteners, ordered an oil pressure sensor, gauge has went out. Order some oil Motul x-cess 5w-40. Will probably install the oil sensor, oil change, fasten up the fuel pump assembly all together, then take the bumper off to get her ready for a retune at TopSpeed.
Also ordered some kool little Nismo key chains. Was always disappointed with the Nismo key itself , but these keychain will spice it up a bit.
Also, I actually found my master key and key fob. I had misplaced it for literally 5 or so years. I said **** it over the weekend and strip searched the house and found it to my delight.
Also will probably order some parts just to freshen up the car, new Nismo floor mats, standard trunk mat with the Z, rear Z strut emblem, a few faded plastics around the engine bay.
$$$$ smh
