Put car into hibernation mode last night, found a little rodent nest under the battery in the process. Cleaned it out and put mothballs in both cubbies.
I have decided to get some Berks high flow cats to replace the stock ones. Also getting the bumper repainted. And a new intake tube so I can use my 75mm throttle body.
As far as intake goes I currently have the JWT pop charger on a OEM intake tube. the coupler from the throttle body kit is two small in diameter to fit the OEM intake so..... I need to get a aftermarket tube.. Z1 is in my backyard, lol more like 30 minutes away from me. which is sooo bad for my wallet. yes I will be adding a tune in the near future.
I've got an Admin 3.5" intake mated to my 75mm TB. I don't think they make them anymore. Seems like the majority of available aftermarket intakes are 3" in diameter, so that's why I was curious. I've never measured it, but I am assuming the stock intake tube is 70mm (~2.75") to match the stock TB diameter. 75mm is just slightly smaller than 3", so I would imagine a 3" intake tube with a 3" coupler would fit nice and snug with the 75mm TB.

The Mishimoto hose sorta works for the 75mm, most intakes are smaller than 3" OD, if you want something that keeps the same ID as the TB, you need 80mm OD tubing.
Today I replaced the center 3 gauges on the dash. The digital gauge didn't work and the oil pressure gauge was reading 120psi no it reads correctly at idle.. Soooo I did and I washed the car today. This car was dirty as hell. Last few things I gotta do is install throttle body kit, install high flow cats, and get the front bumper back from paint. Almost done...

Give it 90-days to fully cure, and then invest in some PPF for the fresh front bumper.
Quality PPF isn't cheap, but it's worth it in the long run. I had Xpel installed on my freshly painted bumper and honestly I can't even tell it's there. You can also wax/coat PPF. For the pet hair in your interior, I highly recommend picking up a
. These things work amazing for removing pet hair without damaging carpet fibers. Icing on the cake, but I would also recommend having your rear window tint re-done, if you decide to splurge for PPF on the bumper, I would combine that with a quality window tint install, most shops offer discounts when you stack the work in a single appointment.
Bumper looks great! Painted plastics vs. Metal always has subtle shade differences from lighting because of the different substrate material, but that looks pretty spot on from my vantage point over the interwebs.
Cheers!

Hey Tuzzio, how stiff or strong are those struts when closing the hood? I'm a bit worried about "bending" or "folding" the hood with gas support struts if they aren't tuned correctly for the application. Just based on your opinion do you think these Z1 struts are adequate without being over-powered? Is the hood flexing to a scary degree or does it require a lot of force to close?
Cheers!

This is more of a thing on fiberglass / carbon hoods. Considering these hook to the fender apron, and the hinge itself - it would take an exorbitant amount of force to bend the hood, in my opinion.
I also replaced my hatch struts with Z1 struts, roughly 2 years ago without issue.
