Say what?

EDIT: TCS will kill your throttle to allow re-establishing control. You see "SLIP" on your instrument panel while TCS toggles between power and kill-power.

You're on your own - in more ways than one.

Instead of rambling, how about posting some coherent statements or questions. We'd be happy to address that what we can understand.

So you know your car has no VDC and TCS then you ask if your traction control "on my on"...I give up...

Motor doesn't back off without VDC. There is a really long pedal on the right side of the driver's footwell that will slow down the acceleration.

You have neither. Each time you start the car you are cheating death.

I detect some sarcasm but its OK.

I have owned both a 350Z (with TCS) and a 370Z (with VDC). Both are cool but nothing takes the place of common sense and the accelerator. Both are part of a trend to let the car drive the car instead of the driver.

Unless it's been asked before, in which case you're SOL 'cause the thread will be locked down faster than a 5AT shifts.

one word of advice. When it rains...beware, even in 3rd going around corners I have had my Z make like a 6 year old on a slip and slide. Or she at least tried to, but the VDC saved me there

I would not recommend going back to that garage as they seem pretty ignorant about the 350z... They are probably referring to an LSD as "traction control that you can't turn off", but the base model does not have an LSD or TCS so this doesn't make sense any way you look at it.
