The haze is something called out-gassing, its from the vinyl leaching out fumes, the same stuff that contributes to the new car smell. Using silicon based protectants does seem to encourage this, I dont know why. I will say that you should be very happy with the 303 protectant. Its great stuff. Also, dont use amonia based glass cleaners. Not only do they smell terrible, but getting amonia on the leather and vinyl is not good for it.

Try cleaning the wheels first with car wash solution and an old rim rag. If that doesn't quite cut it, I recomend a wheel and tire cleaner, my favorite is "Eiman-Fabrik Hi-Intensity Cleaner" Read "Detailing Session 2: Wheels and Tires" for more info.

I never comment on another man's woman's feet. It could lead to bad things. Very bad things.

Nice car, Barrister - and great job on the shine, congrats! As for the toenails, ya might want to consider investing in some 3M film for those - very nice!

ZBarrister,

My wife wants to know the color code for the nail polish. She loves the idea of matching the car.

I hope you still have time to bring the car by sometime this week. Dying to see it, especially after the Zaino treatment

Pooh,

Color code for the polish? I'm a guy you think i would know that...hahaha! I think I heard the name Boyznberry but not sure.

Not sure if I can do it this week, work is actually interfering with devoting time to the car!

But let me check a few things out and get back to you on that.

fwiw - griots wheel cleaner works great on stuff that wont come off with regular car wash soap. Its certified by BBS for use on their wheels - so it should be fine on any alloy - and its not as nasty as the harsher chemicals you find at most auto stores.

There's just always a fee involved isn't there

BTW..I was talking about more pics of your wife not her feet...but at $9.99/month for her feet I don't think I could afford the rest

Thanks anyway
