The car took out about 50-60 feet of plastic fencing in the yard of Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr.
This.
Didn't have to go far to find the appropriate law enforcement?
No pity, kid shouldn't of been doing that on the street.
Flick, Finland has that kind of system in place. Takes 2-3 years to get a license. But look at the quality of drivers that come out of the system.

they also do this magical thing of actually enforcing the traffic laws to such an extent that people are afraid to break to the traffic law. Not like it is here.

such a stupid argument... it sucks the kid died but think of how many peoples eyes he opened, i bet everyone who knew that kid will be driving alot safer now, and hopefully alot of the parents will take it in their own hands that if they want to buy there kids a sports car that they will be responsible enough to take their kid out and teach them how to properly drive it and respect its limitations

We need to teach defensive driving, accident avoidance, adverse condition driving, car control...lots of things. I remember when I was in driver's ed and it started absolutely pouring down rain. We pulled over and our teach drank his coffee until it passed...
Why can't we have state-run tracks with skid pads and obstacle courses?

My father taught me to driver before I took drivers education. At one point in his life he taught drivers ed. His philosophy was that I should learn how to control (and loose control) a car in the worst conditions first. So he took me out to parking lots when it was wet/snowy several times before we went out on dry roads.

I was gonna reference Finland, but you guys beat me to it in examples. I'd say the cops can be chill about enforcement, but schools would definitely TEACH folks how to drive before granting a permission to.

To your point... to is slow relative to an F1 car. And the viper owner would probably look like a fool trying to drive it (probably kill him self through overconfidence).
...you know the whole argument if a Z is fast or slow ( or any other car for that matter) as a mute point.
It's all relative to the driver. I remember when I first got my 350 it caught me by surprise a few time in corners ...my inexperience.

No, I am just saying we need a better and harder license tests. I was told that the German license test is quite hard. No wonder the autobahn has no speed limit, because I am guessing the general population has decent driving skills; but here in the states, especially in LA, you don't even want to know.

The autobahn is also of 100 times better construction quality than highways here in the US. That, and the autobahn isn't as limitless as it once was.
