Born in the UK... so:
1984 Green Ford Escort 1.3L
1992 Red Ford Escort 1.3GL (this one I wrote off, not my fault though)
1994 Red Vauxhall Corsa 1.4L (only one so far with BAD speeding tix LOL)
1991 Black Toyota Celica GT (Grey Import to UK from Japan, with 4WS)
Moved to USA - sold Celica on eBay
2004 Redline 350Z Grand Touring
2007 Black NISMO 350Z
I think I done alright The Toyota used to get me a lot of looks because of the 4WS etc, but as a Grey Import it sucked, as the Japs put a lot of cars back on the forecourt after x years because their emmision tests are so harsh. It's hardly worth keeping them road worthy apparently.
So the Toyota had a few issues with the plastic and other perishables wearing out in the engine (seals etc). other than that - I loved it.
Now I think I am at the top of the tree as far as I am concerned
the Vauxhall (Opel or Saturn I guess here) was a scream - I got almost banned for 2 separate incidents in that thing. Oh to be a kid again
Then again - the way I drive my Z now, I should probably be banned...

Why do people always generalize that a 17 year old with a nice car must be spoiled? I’m 17 about to turn 18 and I just bought a used touring 350z. I have a good job at a car dealership and work very hard 30 hrs a week to have enough money to buy the things I want and am also able to maintain my grades. I saved up all of my money over the summer put a large down payment and then I am financing the rest. Plus I pay my insurance and my gas and everything else related to the car. It really pisses me off to hear comments like “daddy’s car” or “Spoiled” when some teenagers, granted there are not a lot, who work for what they have and did not receive hand outs
So don’t automatically assume or judge some one because of their age and what they drive it is just ignorant.
