Well to start I'm 17.

1st car-1992 toyota camry
bought at 14, cheap and slow

2nd car-1993 Nissan 300zx
bought at 16, still love it, but sadly I need to sell it

3rd car- will be a 2003 or 2004 350z once the 300 sells

I have payed for all of my vehicle expenses since my first car. I pay for insurance, gas, car payment, maintenance, registration, and all other expenses of mine outside of food at home and rent. I may not have worked my way up the vehicle food chain as many have, but I work and pay for what I like while still doing great in school (college, not high school). I don't see why I should not get a 350z, I haven't had any tickets or accidents and I'm paying for it. I don't think age matters all that much, the driver is what matters. Responsibility of the driver is what should truely matter.

And I can't wait to get the 350z

old people are just pissed that us hard working teens can afford to get what they get during their mid-life crisis.

*yay* for another young Z owner, and /applaud for another young driver other than me that hasn't gotten into any trouble.

No we're pissed because most aren't experienced and mature enough to drive high performance vehicles.

Slow down and drive responsibly. Remember, the life you save my be mine.

This is what a teen driver did to my Z.

Well to start off I'm 22

Got a 1984 Toyota Cressida at 16

Than I got a 2004 Accord at the age of 17

And finally at 21 got my 2004 350Z, I agree with the above that young teens need to learn how to drive. I have been rear ended twice in my Z, both by two freakin 16-17 year olds, and both cars were Ford escorts, thats why I hate Fords.

The next car I'll probably pick up is a 2010 Camaro with a LS V8, but I'm still keeping the Z. Anyone have any advice on juggling two sports cars?

Maybe he just hates the idea that ford's rearended him.

I hate chevy's because I rolled my camaro. Bald tires + rain + cruise control = certain unfortunate turn of events. But I decided to add Bald tires + rain + cruise control + Chevy Camaro = Certain unfortunate turn of events!!!!!!!

1993 toyota celica st went through a fast a furious stage - at 15

1997 acura integra GS-R needed something faster transmission went and it wasn't worth fixing - at 16

1995 acura integra GS-R was when i started growing up, did nice mods to it and kept it totally off the rice spectrum - at 17-18 http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/...egra+gs-r+show

2003 Nissan 350z Track - at my current age, 18 (financed completely by myself, used cash from gsr sale, 5,000, as the down payment and couldn't be happier) https://my350z.com/forum/buying-leasing/308742-impulse-buy-yay-or-nay.html

Guess I'm grumpy this morning. Just seems like every time a young kid posts on here they have to plug in that "It's paid for all by myself" like it's some huge accomplishment, when in reality that's all they pay for. If my mortgage, water, gas, electricity, insurance, student loans, food, cable, internet, phone, cell phone... etc were all paid for I'd have a different Z for every day of the week.
