you "love" seeing the "icy" warning?

when i see it, it might as well say, "hey, dumbass, it's going to snow while your car is parked - good luck driving it home"

I was surprised when it did the same thing to me. But then after it kept arguing with me and switching it back to temp after I set it to DTE it started to get annoying.

Neat nonetheless..

yeah real neat, neat like the damn tire pressure monitor

so you have to adjust your computer every time you start the car because it feels the need to tell you the obvious. flash icy thats fine, but I dont need it to automaticly switch to the temp display.

Cool

The icy warning has no relationship to actual road conditions. It automatically comes on when the temp gets to 37 degrees or lower even on bright sunny days.

If anyone knows how to adjust or turn the thing off let me know.

One thing that IS nice about the computer is that it will automatically switch to the mileage screen when you are low on gas and have only 50 miles to get to a gas station. It is actually quite handy to know that I best feather the throttle and nurse my baby to a gas station.

that too, another annoyance actually... how much gas did you put in when that happened? Ive taken it down to 14miles, then proceeded to put 14gallons in. which means I had another 6 gallons left, good for about 120miles... it really should switch when it says 0. at 50 you still have about a half tank left.
