It doesn't help that they used to be a reputable shop. I've bought a bunch of stuff from them, and would probably purchase again if I didn't know about the issues. Could have easily ended up in the same boat as others on here.

 

The BBB can't do squat. They are only a rating service and have no zero enforcement powers Last time I checked I think they they gave this arsehat an F but that was way back when this thread started.

 

My lawyer sent him an email and then followed up with a phone call. They seem to be corresponding mostly through email, at least Adam is replying. However, as I said earlier, it is much of the same. I fully expect to have to sue him in court, which I will do without hesitation.

 

Hey guys I was just trying to see if anything was different on Adam's webpage. (Z1auto.com) and it says the webpage is under "construction" can anyone confirm this? But his twitter page is still up and hasn't had anything done to it since last year mentioning the change to the phone number.

 

No access to his website either.

I had access over the weekend because a local FB member mentioned they're buying from Z1 (motorsport) -- I copied his link (working at the time) and warned him about this one.

Since this has turned into a a criminal investigation you may be able to put your attorney aside for now and hopefully save a few dollars. Once the case has run its course through the court you may need your attorney back.

No disrespect Evo8Z but why have you not gotten in your car and paid a visit to Adam? He is less than 90 minutes from you? If this guy or anyone for that matter stole my cash and I was a short distance away I would be in his face daily and walk his broken crippled *** right to the bank.

 

Well for one thing I don't want to go to jail for crippling someone Two, I did not have his home address. The address that he has been using is a storage unit address and a UPS store address. Three he does not live in NY anymore. After all the mess that has happen he skipped town. I am just waiting to see if the detective that's on the case gets him or not.

 

I concur, violence is rarely the correct answer. Yes, you would probably go to jail and there are no guarantees you would get your money back anyways. Adam is broke, he has no money, if he does it's going to his lawyer.

 

Correct, he is no longer in New York. That does not mean he cannot be found.

 

They know exactly where he is, that isn't the problem.

 

Never said it had to be violent. I would follow that bastard around and once he walked into his bank I would be right next to him.
