Default What to do next?

So I know there most likely has been a thread similar to this but I'm bored and therefore decided to type my own! Mod's feel free to delete or merge if needed just don't flame, rather you do something about it.

Well back to my question, I have an 05 silverstone 35th anniversary so I have the Bose sound, Brembo's, Leather interior. I just recently purchased a Greddy Ti-C true dual exhaust. When I think what I wanna do next I have no idea where to begin!? I really don't need power at the moment because its my DD and not to much of a racer type guy. So appearnce is the name of the game, budget is lets sayyy $700 including instaltion if I can't do it myself (painting bodykits etc.). What do you guys suggest? Open to anything really just warry of opening the door to a theme and having to get one piece at a time because I don't want the car to look akward or bad at anytime.

Well Dave I read all those links and some of the links you posted on those links! (You posted on all of them hehe) but unfortunatly the ones you gave me had to do with people wanting exhausts or paint jobs or their color car was completly diffrent so extrerior mods wouldn't look as good on my color, which (sorry to be rude) is what I said I had or didn't want to do. Got any more you can share with me?

My best advice is to browse the Tech forums for a while. Look at the popular (most views, most replies) threads. See what people have been doing. Look at the picture threads, the gallery, the Media Share forum. Look at lots of Zs - eventually you'll find something that piques your interest.

Too many people want to do a mod just for the sake of doing a mod. I've seen people asking about a particular mod, not knowing the first thing about what the mod even does. That's just a way to throw money down the drain because later you'll be disappointed in your choice or disillusioned with it so you'll sell it at a huge loss.

Be patient and take time to learn about the Z and all the various mods. They will fall into place eventually.

BTW - I didn't post those links so you would get some mod ideas. It was more to illustrate the shotgun approach that people take. They ask the open ended question and everybody fires back random suggestions. No consideration for budget, direction, technical ability or mechanical competance. I see a lot of people make the same suggestion in each of the "what mod next question" threads. I guess they have their own favorite mod and are trying to influence others to do the same. Hell, it's your car, don't let others design it for you. Find what you like then seek out info and opinions on the specific subject. You'll get a lot better results and you'll be a lot happier with those results in the long run.

One more thing, these threads are always a good starting point....

Thanks I'll deffinently check out some of the media threads, but I understand that you just put those there and I was expecting it because I did so searches before I posted but its just to hard to find exactly what I need and it got aggrivating

I completly understand about people who are lazy and don't take initiative and search but I was trying to get more specific answers for my car.

Do you have wheels you're satisfied with? If not save for some of those. If so, get some lowering springs and a front lip... And next time a little imagination and some web searching wont kill you...

Dont just drop $700 on anything. Save up some money and get some decent stuff when you're ready. JMO.

Btw what do you think of gold f14 forgestars over the brembos on a silverstone car? I know it'd fit I talked to a sales person.

Search the Forgestar thread in the wheels section and think for yourself. Quit being lazy.
