Not! Worst bang for the buck ever. Depending on what else might have been done already, hi-flow cats at a minimum, plenum spacer, exhaust, sways bars. Then a track day so you can really learn how to handle the car. Next up would be suspension upgrades. IMHO only of course and we don't know the year of the car so spacer might not apply.

Totally depends on how you drive. If you like sliding then get a LSD if you like spirited driving with a little sliding then get coilovers. If you like both then keep saving...

I'd save another $5500 to purchase the Momentum Performance Turbo Kit, have it installed and tuned for non-stop, heart-throbbing adrenaline that would leave a big smile on my face each time I put my foot on the gas pedal.

I'll just fess up and list all that I've done and spent since I got my 08 Touring MT about 2 months ago. I considered these *must do's*

Rear Sway bar $150
Invidia Catback $790
Osirus Tune $550
Nismo S Tune Shocks/Springs $600 (slightly used)
(4) 18X9.5 Rims $670 (Konig Zero In)
245/275 Cooper RS-3S tires $700

Total $3460

If I were to shell out my first $1500 it would be rear bar, Nismo S Tune, Rims
for a tad under $1500.

If I Had $1500 (If I Had $1500)
I'd buy you a house (I would buy you a house)
If I Had $1500 (If I Had $1500)
I'd buy you furniture for your house
(Maybe a nice chesterfield or an ottoman)
If I Had $1500 (If I Had $1500)
I'd buy you a K-Car (a nice Reliant automobile)
If I Had $1500 I'd buy your love.

If I Had $1500
I'd build a tree fort in our yard.
If I Had $1500
You could help, it wouldn't be that hard.
If I Had $1500
Maybe we could put put a little tiny fridge in there somewhere
([Talking:] We could just go up there and hang out.
Like open the fridge and stuff, and there'd be foods laid out for us
With little pre-wrapped sausages and things. Mmmmm.
They have pre-wrapped sausages but they don't have pre-wrapped bacon.
Well can you blame them. Yeah)

If I Had $1500 (If I Had $1500)
I'd buy you a fur coat (but not a real fur coat that's cruel)
If I Had $1500 (If I Had $1500)
I'd buy you an exotic pet (Like a llama or an emu)
If I Had $1500 (If I Had $1500)
I'd buy you John Merrick's remains (All them crazy elephant bones)
If I Had $1500 I'd buy your love

If I Had $1500
We wouldn't have to walk to the store
If I Had $1500
We'd take a limousine 'cause it costs more
If I Had $1500
We wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner.
(But we would eat Kraft Dinner. Of course we would, we'd just eat more.
And buy really expensive ketchup with it.
That's right, all the fanciest Dijon Ketchup. Mmmmmm.)

If I Had $1500 (If I Had $1500)
I'd buy you a green dress (but not a real green dress, that's cruel)
If I Had $1500 (If I Had $1500)
I'd buy you some art (a Picasso or a Garfunkel)
If I Had $1500 (If I Had $1500)
I'd buy you a monkey (haven't you always wanted a monkey?)
If I Had $1500 I'd buy your love

If I Had $1500, If I Had $1500
If I Had $1500, If I Had $1500
I'd be rich.

Sorry just had to get that off my chest.
The fail is so strong with this one, I don't even know where to begin.

1) OP didn't specify if he wanted his Z to go faster, handle better, look better, be lowered, ride better or any other criteria. Therefore any and all random answers will be in line with his directionless goal. Kudos to him for at least specifying a budget - most don't

2) You're right, we're all tired of "seeing this", i.e. asking the same question over and over. It deserves and gets the same answer over and over. I'm saving him the hassle of searching out a bunch of threads on the subject he's asking about.

3) I did answer his question, I pointed him to threads with lots of suggestions for mods. What did YOU do for him? Other than get something off your chest.

4) Look at the majority of the replies here. It sure seems like few members take these kinds of questions seriously.

You want to do something about this besides venting? Write a FAQ.
