Wondering what you woukd pay for this
I just bought Sportline springs for the Z, and now a friend from my job just told me he is parting out his Z and has Stance coil overs he has only had for about a year. He said he paid $1500 for them and if I gave a reasonable offer they are mine. Just wondering what you would pay for them, guess I'd sell my sportlines too.

Well I think I decided I will just keep my springs but he said he put only 8k miles on them. He said he will most likely sell them on forums online now. I just read some threads on here about the stance coil overs and decided they wouldn't be best for what I want to do anyway

This car is my daily driver, like most of you, but I want to improve the handling enough to be able to take it to a local track and have more fun. I also want to lower it and get better rims and spacers and improve the apprearence as well. From what I've read, the stance coil overs seem to be for those who just want to slam their Z. I already have the Sportlines and I've seen pictures of Z's riding on them and I like the look. I will now just have to invest in some good shocks, not sure which ones yet but this is the route I'll go

The sense I get is that the Stance coils aren't that great performance-wise, but they are a good value for those looking to go very low

Honestly most fairly inexpensive coilover options to begin with aren't going to compare to something like Moton, Penske, AST, etc.
For the average consumer however, they should be more than adequate if set up correctly.

Um, that is quite an assumption for a newbie, lol. The Z is not the daily driver for a lot of folks here. It can be hard to compromise on suspension between a daily driver and a good track car. Besides, the best mod you can do to have more fun at the track is to mod the driver.
