My girlfriend's never really liked my Z for specific reasons..."it screams single is her biggest one though lol
She always gives me that head shake with the rolling eyes when I look back at Heather while we're walking into a store or something..I guess she can see it in my eyes

 

I usually say I purchased parts for 1/4 of what they cost.and most of the time they are parts that "needed to be replaced" like yesterday I went online and was shopping for Takata 4 point harness that my car "needs"because my old harness are old so its for my safety

 

Had my Z for almost 2 years now. My wife was just my gf at the time and loved the thought of the Z. The only thing she doesn't like about it is that it only has 2 seats. I told her before we got married last year that I'm never selling my car and she said okay. She's never driven it in the almost 2 years I've owned it. She does, however, let me know what I can and cannot buy for my Z. She always says "you don't need new rims" or "you don't need this" or "that" you know, normal stuff. I somehow always get what I want, it just takes a little more time than I initially think it will.

 

My wife drives the '87 300zx. I get jealous of her t-tops.

 

my gf doesn't mind me modding and working on the Z, as long as it doesn't stop me for paying my bills lol. and shes pretty into cars as well, i actually had a dumb founded look on my face a week or so ago when she asked me "did you get bored with your car? you haven't done anything to it in a while..."

I actually drive an 09 RX-8.
My wife used to own an 06 Focus sedan, but she didn't like it so much because she said it made her feel like a mom. It had too much body roll and it was kinda slow. So just the other day she sold her Focus and I bought her an 03 Z and she loves it.
I couldn't get her to drive besides when she was going to work and back and now she actually enjoys driving and feels good in it. Works for me, I like the car too.

My wife makes me do side jobs and sell stuff for my mods because she says "You're car already cost enough for you to get it, we don't need to spend more of our income on silly things like *******"

 

I just make enough to support my hobby and the bills i take care of in the house. plus she has a corvette, and when we mod our cars we just do everything together, glad she likes cars cuz i would be ****ed lol

 

My gf likes going in my B13 more than my Z. Figure that!

She says it's more comfortable lol.

At least I know shes not with me for my car haha.

I was testing the S2000 roadster before I decided on a 350Z coupe. While at the dealership, there was a 350Z roadster in the same Silverstone color as the coupe that I was purchasing. Before signing the paper work, my wife says to me, don't you want to purhcase the roadster model, since you were also driving the S2000? She said, just want to make sure your not buying the coupe becasue it is cheaper. The salesman leaned back with much surprise and asked me where he could get a wife like mine!

 

Hasn't been an issue yet, but we are suppose to go on vaycay soon and i want some new wheels and coils so i shall see how that goes.

 

I'm in the market for a Z and I'm recently single and I was just telling my buddy Saturday night that once I get my Z I'm out the dating game for awhile because dating isn't cheap and I plan spending that money on my new love (the Z I buy soon).

Also I'm going to get a roadster because it's bad *** and drop tops make the panties drop

 

Great question! Love my 06 ZR to death, dd . Bought it shortly after we got engaged last year, told her she would look great in it, she does. Magnetic Black, white wedding dress, and black tux turned heads as we drove away from the wedding. She loves it,, but her f#cking cat jumps on it, so...for bday she buys me custom Cover king. Better than Fluffy having an ''accident''. I'll wait till anniversary to get the ''Safer '' Volks. Life is good in Atlanta.
