thanks, i noticed yesterday when i went into a hard right in 3rd and slid out that i did a little bit of drifting lol just wasnt sure if i looked like a badass or like a 1wheeler
Im having some trouble guys! I have a 07 350z hr, i installed some short ram intakes without the heat shields, and was getting to much hot air in and the car was going from 1 rpm to 500(below 1) and acted like it was gonna turn off wich it did when y came to a stop or light. When driving without stoping was good.i know installed the heat shields and the car now dosent turn off and does it a little less, check engine comes on. When a/c is on it does it a little more , what do you think!

If this was on the street and not the track, please try not to take anyone else with you when you slide through the pearly gates on your roof.

It stays at 1thousand rmp at the number one in the rpm gauge then it goes down to half (between 1 and 0) and then up again to 1 like in 3-4 seconds and it does that more when the a/c is on, it did it worse when it didn't have the intake heat shields on. Im really stressed, what do you think is going on!? Appreciate the info.
Ok thanks, how can i know wich maf? Or do i have yo change both!? Is it better to buy new or used! Thanks sorry for that. How can i post pics? Jaja im kind of new.
if you have an HR motor you have to check both MAF sensors to make sure they are good. You have two throttle bodies meaning you have two intake points, if im not mistaken the maf sensors should be where the intakes are.

Yes i know where they are, but how do i know if they are bad? And is it better to get new than used?
there is no way real way to check other than by 1. running a diagnostic on your car, 2. using a voltmeter to check the send and return voltages on your Maf, or 3. You can clean the MAF and run it around the block if you dont want to do either of those and see if your car returns to normal, but other than that those are your options
it is also better to buy new, you cant get MAFs for cheap from courtesyparts.com or z1motorsports.com

I can tell you're stressed. You quoted the wrong person in your reply.
