"Afford it" my ***. The newer SI costs the around same as a 350z.
I got my 04 touring leather seats/nav w 20k miles for about $18.5k last year (23rd bday present to myself)
Only diff is you'll be paying more money in gas, insurance, oil changes, ect.
My best friend used to drive a 350z before I got mine and now he drives a 2014 Si. He said the thing he misses most is not being able to step on the pedal and cut in front on the fwy, but he needed more trunk space since he's a dj now. He went from a mustang gt to a 350z to an Si, so wierd.

Well I am 19 and have always been a honda guy. I do not race often at all so speed is not overly a concern. Im more into looks and cruising. Currently own a civic si sedan. What do you guys think about the 350z compared to the Civic SI sedan as far as daily driving (ride quality, road noise, rattles etc)
I would say if you want to turn heads ==> 350z will do it more often than a honda civic SI hands down. Honda Civic honestly looks like any other honda....
ride quality ---> hard to say.....350z has a tight suspension and you will feel every bump in the road. steering capability is stiff like turning a rock
Road noise ==> depends on tires and camber kit and what area of town you live in....Cannot give clear answer.
Rattles ==> both have lots of plastic in it....dead even...
I agree with something more rare. The r34 gtr would be a sweet car. The only one I have ever seen was at the furious and furious booth at universal studios.
The other day a older white truck was revving at me and wanted to race on the freeway. I passed. The area is known for cops and I got a speeding ticket there before.
Going back to the original discussion, I had a Toyota matrix with the 1.8L 2zz engine before. It's similar to the high revving 2.0L in the si. It was a torque low rev high setup. Nice car but it had no torque. The z has torque and better for all around driving. Climbing the hills is a lot nicer in the z. The 4 banger was whizzing going up the hills.

OP, on behalf of the enthusiast members of this forum I apologize for how you were treated within this thread.
You asked an honest question without trying to create a flame war and were mistreated by several members on this forum and it was unnecessary. Half the responses were not even relevant to your question and they just turned it into a Z vs Si thread.
I have cleaned up this thread and given out several infractions to people within this thread, this is not how we should be interacting with each other and if we treated every prospective member like some of you have no one would ever want to join our forum or buy a 350z.
If I see it happen again more infractions will be handed out
You didn't honestly pay $18.5 for a '04 did you? You should have paid no more than $13k even with those low miles...
Used 370z's can be had for as little as $22k if someone does their research.
