How much is it moving? Maybe you only have 1k miles. Let it breakin more miles and see what happens. I have over 14k miles and the rpm doesnt move a bit at idle.

could, but I doubt that has anything to do with it. the shifter does vibrate, thats normal.

has anything happened to it? does it ALWAYS vary RPMs at idle or just sometimes, how often?

This engine has enough cam for a little lope at idle, the needle shouldn't move around much though.

I get the same irregular idle at times. Happens when stopped at lights, etc. after the car has warmed up. Has never come close to stalling, but the RPM's do dip enough to be noticeable.

I have installed a grounding kit, and it did seem to reduce the frequency of this. I wonder if it is an issue with "bad" gas. My Honda CRX used to do the same thing though. I just hate bringing my car into the dealer, almost guaranteed I will notice something wrong (new scratch or chip or something) when I get it back...

Mine seemed to be perfect after grounding kit. I only started to notice slight fluctuation and lower occasional idle after my intake was installed. Not saying it wasnt before the intake, just i notced it after intake.

is your ac on when you turn on your car? If so, it should rattle or jiggle for a little bit. If you turn your ac off, the rpm should drop a little. Try it out man.
