Default 2006 350z Headlights

Hey guys,

I'm 20 years old, Just bought my 350z. 66k miles for around 8k. Good price or no?

Anyways, Besides the introduction. I've been looking for some headlights, Can't really find any one that really looks good. Would anyone mind posting some below that would look well on a black 350z?

Thanks!

Is there something wrong with the ones you have? You already have the good ones.

Agreed^^^ the OEM Z33 light modules have been judged to look the best.

Well the ones I have on now aren’t the correct ones, or so I believe. They don’t have the blinker on them. It’s on the bottom. 2006 Nissan 350z. If they aren’t, could someone direct me to a link with the correct headlights please?

Posting a picture would help immensely as to what you are talking about.

Thank me later and congrats on your Z purchase. I have a 2005 and replaced with Depo (depoautolamp.com) brand 06 headlights from U.S. subsidary Maxzone Auto Parts https://www.maxzone.com/. You can read all about them from their websites.
Perfect fit and wiring. These came with all the bulbs and quality Panasonic ballasts. So now I have a 2006 350Z. LOL
Ordered mine from Amazon. Make sure you get the "ships and sold from Amazon" part.

Did you have to buy the both of them or do they come in a pair? I assume they come in separately because amazon says Driver and Passenger side. Just trying to clarify.

^^^ this

You either have an 03-05 Z, or someone installed some 03-05 headlights into your "06". And, the turn signal bulb is on the top of the housing. The high beam is on the bottom.

(Patiently waits for the question of whether 06+ OEM or aftermarket headlights will be a simple plug n play without clarifying whether stock setup is HID or halogen)

Ah I see, Will this headlight be a simple plug n play?
Amazon Amazon

I know it'll be about 700$ to order both of the headlights, but they're the correct ones. As for the front bumper, it has the blinker reflectors on it so I assume that's wrong aswell.

Could anyone help me with this?
Will these fit my 2006 350z?
I plan on getting these,
SPYDER 5042316.

Will these fit and the website I plan on ordering from lmperfromance. Not sure if this website is legit or not, If someone’s ordered for it, Let me know!

Any help is appreciated!

You can get depo headlights with a black housing for a better price on ebay for just over $400 for a pair. They should be plug n play unless some re-wiring was done in the past. But, you will need to get D2S bulbs for the hi/lo. Try TRS in either 4500k or 5500k (for maximum lumens output) for those.

The separate amber OEM reflectors on the bumper are just reflectors and do not illuminate with the turn signals. They're stock on all 03-09 350Zs, although the shape did vary slightly from 03-05 to 06+ since the front bumper is different. Aftermarket options are available to convert them to turn signals.

Sweet!

Would these work aswell?

They're even cheaper than the ones you have listed.

Let me know!
Thank you!

I'm not the biggest fan of the lights you posted, but to each their own. Agree with Trav that the output would not be as good as the Depo headlights I posted.

Yeah.

I'll be going with the Depo headlights you posted.

As for the bulb you posted, the D2S: MORIMOTO XB35 HID ,

Is it 50$ just for one 5500k bulb?

Nothing wrong with trying to save money, but If you do it right the first time you dont have to spend money fixing it again later

Aka cheap parts vs quality
