Default Exhaust piping and fitment??

Hi all, wanted to ask if anyone has aam test pipes going to a motordyne y pipe?

reason I’m asking is I think I have a pretty sizable exhaust leak because I took my dog for a drive and she started getting dizzy.
I wanted to see if I can replace all gaskets and since I bought the z with the test pipes on I made sure to check the diameters and saw the the aam tp’s were 2.5” and the motordyne was 3”

what is suggested here? I haven’t had the chance to look closely at how they are connected right now but
I started looking for adapters and connectors.

anyone know what should be done?
i don’t have a welder so I can really weld anything,
I was thinking of an adapter with the flange
thanks for your input!

SHOULD BE bolt-on. The test pipes should be bent/aligned just like the stock cats. If you have the MD "XYZ" pipe, the primaries are 2.5" with the collector 3".

Whatever you run aft of the Y-pipe (mid/resonator, rear muffler) should bolt right up to the Y-pipe.

Best to disassemble then shop for your gaskets to make sure they fit. Measure twice and/or take the existing gaskets (basic two hole, 2.5", ovoid gaskets) with you to buy then install once.

Thanks! Good thing I asked before buying useless things to overwhelm myself with its trial and error
