Yeah, apparently gryphon was right and we was the first person to comment. 20 lb-ft of torque makes a difference. I was seriously just not wanting to take the car anywhere

I can see this being your resolution for every problem until the riots/protests are over

Yeah pretty much. Easy fix, might get your *** kicked, but at least car problems will be over

UPDATE: drove the car around to go fishing. It was still squeaking for about three blocks then it stopped. Didn't hear anything until I came back on the highway. Heard a really quiet chirping. Decided, screw this, and went and bed the brakes again. Hard. After that I haven't heard a peep. Might have been the two things combined, shock tower & brakes.

UPDATE ON RIOTS: it's wild here. There are protests everywhere. Some up here in the north side. But mostly just in the south and the west side. I'm up in nice yuppie Roscoe Village so my car is safe. I know the riots are supossidly about the murder and police brutality but it all started getting really bad when the curfew alert hit everyone's phones last night. That was the last straw for A LOT of people.

We just got the curfew tonight 8:30pm to 5am for next 7 days. I don't live in the heart of the action but I guess close enough... five minutes away. Crazy.

SQUEAK FOUND!

Where can I purchase this plastic part? It's the spring touching the lower spring perch because the plastic wrapping is all wonky as you can see in the picture.

I see you figured it out. Too bad I didn't see this earlier. I would have told you to turn your steering wheel lock to lock while parked. If you hear it, it's the plastic sleeves. Common issue. There are actually TSB's for the Versa and Sentra.

Was hoping there was a site like realoem.com (for BMWs) but for nissans. Where you can see a blueprint of every part of the car and it lists all the part numbers in the legend.

Is this the only diagram? Doesn't seem to show that plastic piece as a seperate part.
