I’m new to the car scene really and I was looking for some new rims I found a steal on some 18x9 with a 30 mm offset. But they come with tires that are 255/45 was wondering if it’s possible to run these and if so can they be ran all around? If not what would you guys recommend. Looking to run 245/40/18 in the front and 265 in the back not sure what rims would work for those sizes.

 

they will be sunken in looking.
i personally ran 18x9.5 +23 with a 255/40/18 in the front, and 18x9.5+15 with a 275/40/18 in the rear (alot on here also ran 18x10.5+15 with 27540/18 in rear)

 

I Agree while some spacers will fix that look I still would recommend going with proper fitment.
There is ALOT more room on a Z than you realize. Personally I am running 19X8.5+20 265/35 front and 19X9.5+20 285/35 rear with stock suspension. I know that is a little excessive but I also see that there is still more room in the wheel well.

Those are perfect 18" sizes. Matches stock 225/245-45 diameters so no issues with VDC/TCS if you have either.

FTR: 255/45 are way too tall. Like an inch too much. Unless you like the rally car look.

If you go +15 rear, be prepared to roll n' seal the rear fender lips (especially if lowered.) I've run about two dozen sets of wheels/tires on my Z cars in everything from +30/+33 (OE sizes) down to +8 (current). It was only when I put on a set of 9.5 +15s that I needed to roll the lips. Ever so slight tire bump on speed bumps and driveways. And I'm only dropped 19mm.

Note: If you go to 35 series tires as was noted in post above, make sure you do it F&R to keep the tires properly staggered; again, if you have VDC/TCS as mismatched diameters can trigger your traction systems. Not always but just to be safe. The same 255/275 but in 35 aspect ratio will be shorter than stock by a whole inch so I don't generally recommend 35s unless you're dropped a fair bit. If you're not lowered, stick with 40s as it helps to keep the fender gaps same as stock.

i wouldnt do a 10.5 in the front

 

if you want to run "square" wheels, do 9.5

if you rub in the front, at the top middle of the fender is a screw, that is usually what it rubs on, i just removed it
