On the core support right below the hood latch is a sensor. I threw my old core support away before checking it over thoroughly like a dummy.

Can anyone tell me what sensor it is? It's the yellow one, 2004 350 Touring Model.

My guess is possibly an airbag sensor? I need to buy a new one whatever it is.

There are actually two sensors there. The black connector is for your outside ambient temperature sensor (used for climate control and shown on the center dash multi-display). All yellow wire harness plugs indicate SRS system, the one in the front under the latch is your front impact sensor. There's a steel Z bracket that mounts there with 2x10mm nuts (you can see the posts in your pic).
