No matter what, I hope you guys keep in mind that the problems that some people are having are not with the film or even the concept behind the use of the film as an effective paint protection solution, but is the fault of a poor installation, or a less than reputable installer. Unfortunatly, as in any service oriented business, there are those with less experience than others, and there are those with less customer support than others. So please dont get discouraged by the few poor installers you hear about. We install all our kits as if they were a moving advertisment for our company, as a result the majority of our retail business has been through referals and word of mouth. Ask the person whos doing your kit how long they have been installing for. Ask them how long they warrenty their work for. Just as in any other automotive service, on an otherwise meticulous install, a problem can arise. Luckily with the 3M film problems with the install come out very shortly after the install, A good installer knows this and will check back with you a few days later and make neccisary adjustments/replacments where needed. Remeber, for every story you hear of a bad install/installer, the majority of us work hard to make sure that the work we do on your car would be the same quality as the work we would do on our own.

Krinkov, I totally agree. As another example of good service, the 3M shop I went to was actually replacing the film on the Jaguar hood. It seems that there was a shortage of 3M film because of a manufacturing problem. They installed a competitor's product in the mean time, then removed and replaced it with 3M later. Cool.

Joyia, thanks for the lead. What's at Indy? Just the SAP United States Grand Prix! Friday practice ticket is only $10.00, so I'm going for the day. Can sit in the BIG BUCK seats for no additional cost. I need a fix of 18,000 RPM motors! You gotta hear them scream.....bring ear plugs!
