Man I haven't been pulled over this much since I had my 86' 300zx and was passing everything I could get around...is it that everyone knows just how fast this thing is or what? I used to drive alot faster in my Jetta cause noone bothered me...now I have to go slower than when I drove the jetta so I don't get pulled over left and right...anyone getting the same thing?

 

Try not speeding, that always helps.

nawh... I've been pulled over 3 times so far in my Z and I've had it for about 4 months now. In my old civic, I got pulled over twice in a span of 8 years. The officer never told me why he was pulling me over the first time, the other two times was for 'routine traffic checks' or 'just looking out for drunken drivers'. I don't mind though if that's why they really pulled me over. Eh, oh well. At least I haven't gotten a ticket yet. *knock on wood*

I still haven't been pulled over yet. Had the Z for 6 months now, but there have been a few close calls. There are quite a few speed traps in my area. Just gotta be careful.
The closest I got to being pulled over was at a light just this past weekend when I was next to an s2000. He started reving his engine, giving me a taste of his new exhaust system, which I must admit sounded amazing. So naturally I wasn't going to back down. Just as the light turned green, 2 police cruisers pulled out of a strip mall in front of us. I thought to myself.....I didn't do anything wrong......yet.

Turns out that they ended up pulling over a little Tercel about a block in front of us filled with a family of about 8 or so. I'm not kidding.

I also have been pulled over quite a bit in this car. never got pulled over when i had my grand prix. i think its a mix of the extra attention and also that i am driving a little faster in more common areas, not just on the freeway. good thing is though where i can maybe blame the car for drawing the attention to get pulled over more, i can also give the car credit for getting me out of every ticket. one time i was going 65, in a 35, saturday night, residential in a construction zone, and oh yeah, an illegal U-turn around a divider in the rain, so iwas able to make the rears spin real good. When the cop pulled me over, he gave me the typical speech and after a few "yes sirs, and no sirs" all he wanted to do was talk about the car. the other time was the same thing, this time just speeding, but when the cop yanked me over, all he did was talk about the car and in fact he wnated me to pop the hood, and see what was underneath. funny thing was we were right by the police station and so any cop that came in or out pretty much stopped to check it out also. so knock on wood, no tix yet.

 

Ive only been pulled over once...
It was an undercover cop... he was tailin me hard, literally riding my bumper, so i dropped the hammer, and pulled away (didnt know it was a cop) and the bastard pulled me over... i bitched him out, and he gave me a "warning"

I haven't received one yet but it's been close. About 3 months ago I was driving along about to climb a bridge when a Le Mans passes me up and I instinctively follow. So we're speeding over the (Vincent Thomas) bridge here in So. Cali. and I spot a Chp in my rear view mirror. I slow down but the LM speeds up and sure enough the cop pulls him over. I almost felt responsible for him.

 

i also luckily havent been pulled over in my z yet. only a couple close calls, but their all a bit to close. i just want sumer to get here so i can work and get a V1.

 

I've had my Z almost a year and have been pulled over only once. I got tagged doing 128 in a 55. When the trooper walked up he asked "Do you have any idea what I clocked you at?!" I smiled and said "I bet it was 120 or so". He actually chuckled as he asked for my license. He asked where I was going in such a hurry and I told him it was a new car and I was just stretching it's leggs a bit. He looked over the car, gave me my license back and told me to keep it within 10 miles of the speed limit and to have a nice day. I don't think I've gone 10 miles over the speed limit since.

 

You are one lucky SOB. I hope I'll have that kinda luck if I get pulled over by a cop in tha future.
