Pooch15 you are the bomb.
I'm gearing for a Tuesday delivery to be safe and anything earlier will be a bonus. Too bad my dealer isnt Aginourt Nissan/Infiniti as they are minutes away from Macmillan.
Thanks again Pooch.

Default Hello there from Vancouver

Well...........ordered "it" last Thursday.............Glacier Pearl with Frost leather...........Performance.........the dealer called and asked me to come and see the "new" colours........satin white and arctic white............the latter looks alot like Pikes Peak white offered in the USA.................

On my way home I passed another dealer and there was the three coat pearl finish sitting right there in the showroom............a touring model...........I love the pearl finish..........it really looks great ........and the interior really complements the exterior.......and this from a guy who has ALWAYS preferred black cars.......

The dealer estimates January before if arrives.....I think he's being optimistic from what I've read.

Actually BobbyZ,

MacMillan is on Hwy 7 and Keele, that would actually be closer to Alta Nissan in Woodbridge. I don't expect to get it this week either, but will drop by the dealer on Thursday just to see if they have the car parked out back in the garage. Crossing my fingers!

BTW, what is my status suppose to say if it's after "at sea"? Does it change to "on Rail" or something like that?

Default Hi there Van........well

He didn't actually say a date.......just a month.........January......I ordered mine from New Pacific Nissan.........went to three other dealers before I ordered........two of them tried to gouge me.

I don't know about you guys, but many of dealers out here in the Lower Mainland of BC are making a killing. The day I ordered mine, the one in the showroom (silver touring) went for over 50k.

I'm glad I'm a bit more patient

Wotnot, I ordered from New Pacific as well. Ordered back in July, just waiting for my VIN, should have that pretty quick. Expecting delivery early next month and, frankly, I can't wait.

I had talked to a few different dealers before placing my order as well and got mainly the old stereotypical car salesman bs.

Were you able to get msrp from NP? As of about 2 weeks ago, they bumped the price up by $3K.

That's great news! I think that now the ads are running, there's more and more interest on the car, hence the prices heading up for new orders.

So, how'd ya work the extras and the discount?

Default well......the salesman was

very anxious to sell his first 350z.......and the sales manager seemed pretty interested as well............we got down to a difference of $300 ...........which was the "administration fee"........which I refused to pay............

I suppose they either sold it to me or another dealer would have got my business.........do you plan on getting a spoiler?....I've been thinking of it.............did u see the silver one on the showroom floor?..............it sold for over 50K

Nicely done!

Actually, yeah, I have been flirting with the idea of a spoiler. No one can seem to give me a straight answer there about getting one. And its too late now since my car's in production to have it added from the factory. Now if there was a way to get the track wheels too..... lol Saw my first track the other day in person and those wheels look damn good.

I'm not 100% sold on getting a spoiler after delivery though. Kinda freaks me out thinking of them trying to install it afterwards.

I heard about how much that CS one went for. Man, some people have too much $$!!

Default Re: Spoiler

My dealer has a spoiler waiting to be installed on my car. I ordered it about a month ago. Dealer is charging me MSRP though on the spoiler ($649) Anyway, Funny, that Macmillan is near Keel and 7. That is right by where I work and where my Fiancee lives. However, the only dealers that had spots available were not near Toronto, so my Z is going to be put on a truck and driven an hour away from me where I will then have to go pick it up. I wish it could have just been PDI'd at a dealer around here. Looks like Tuesday for me. I was expecting it at the end of the month so I am not complaining.
Pooch,
Krispy Kreams just are not the same when they are not fresh. Come to T.O. and Krispy Kreams are on me.

Three years road side is a standard I believe. I bought from New Pacific as well, and they said that theyre "throwing" that in there, but I think is a standard option.

Thanks for that info Bobbyz. When I'm spending $45K already on a car, I might just add that $650 in the price.

You say you've got your spoiler already but not the car??? You worried at all about color matching?

The spoilers come painted from the factory. When you order, the dealer needs to know the colour code. Fresh factory paint on both the car and the spoiler so I'm not too worried.
I also just got my clear reflectors from japanparts. I'm building my car part by part

Looking at my lease calculations, it would add about $8 or so per month for the spoiler. I'll be making a call to my dealer later today asking about this. Thanks Bobbyz.

A quick addition to my previous post. I spoke with my dealer just now (New Pacific) and their cost for a spoiler is $850. Ouch, that's over halfways to a track pack!

So, how'd ya get such a great price Bobbyz?
