Just got my 350Z!
Hello, everyone!
Last night I became a proud owner of 2003 350Z Touring Brickyard! I love it so far and can't wait until I break it in, so I can feel its top HP @ 6200 RPM. Handling is so awesome, compared to my trade in Eclipse GT 2000!
Any advice on how long I should take before taking a full advantage of my car's power?
Oh, almost forgot. I ordered my car 3 weeks ago without any downpayment and got it at MSRP! Rare but true. Most of the dealers in SF Bay were asking for at least $500 down and $3,000 to $9,000 mark up. <-- Crazy, huh?

Congrats! I picked up my CS Track this afternoon, also ordering 3 weeks ago, but I did put down a deposit (well, just a check that they didn't cash until today).
As far as break in goes, there are tons of threads about it, and you will just have to decide for yourself.

I know you'll love it!! There's plenty of power below 4k rpm but don't be afraid to go a tad over every now and then. The hatch release is just above the license plate in the rear. The Bose sounds good with CD's kind of loud. If you keep turing on the heated seats accidently place a small throw pillow over the area -
your elbow will like it too. That's about the best advice I can give
a new owner - enjoy your awsome new car!!!!Congrats!!

Pics should be up this weekend, but I am sure you will see some before that, since I plan to head over to Takao's dinner tonight. The dealer I bought from said I was very lucky, since not too many people ordered a track from them, and this canceled pre-order came much before they were expecting it. When I placed the order I was expecting to wait until next year (probably a couple of months in too).
