Thumbs up 350 Z ordered

Hey all, great site! Just wanted to let everyone to know that I have ordered a Daytona blue Enthusiast. I plan to race the car in the 2003 one lap of America. Modifications will start soon after arrival of the Z car.

oh yea, I have sat in a Black Performance model!!!! These cars are way better in person than anyone can imagine!

Default Me too

I just ordered a Brickyard Enthusiast myself today. Hemmed and hawed over waiting for the convertible for about a week, but decided to go for it.

I'm getting it from a dealer out in the boonies. They are claiming Late August delivery, but I suspect they don't really know what is going on and I won't see it until Sept-Oct.

Is black a sweet non-color or what? I bet the car looked gorgeous!?!?!?!?!?!? I'm biased so I say 'hell yes!', sight unseen.

Actually, if you want to get technical (and I know you really don't but hey, you can't stop me!) when referring to paint, black is ALL colors combined together, so it really isn't a non-color. White is officially the absence of all color, so it is the only true non-color

Sorry, this is what happens to your brain when you are an engineer.

No, actually WHITE is "all colors combined". Take sunlight and run it through a prism. This breaks the colors apart if you will, into the colors of the spectrum. Black (which isn't a color of the spectrum at all) is the ABSENCE of color.

I just reread your post and I'll amend my statement. We may be saying the same thing only differently. If you are referring to PAINT then I guess you would be correct. I am referring to visible light. My bad!

Cool

Actually the Doc is only right until your car arrives. Now we look
at it through RGB, but come August it will be in paint!.......
