Question For Those With The Stock DVD Navigation System
I ordered an 05 Roadster Touring. The dealer called this morning to confirm they had ordered the car. I really wanted the DVD navigation system. When he called he told me the only way I could get the DVD Navigation System was with the 18" wheels which are a $1,200 option. Did everyone out there who has the nav system run into this or are there 17's out there with the nav system?

17 inch wheels are standard on AT Touring models. 18 inch wheels are standard on MT Touring models. NAV is a separate option, and doesn't require a specific wheel package.

Were your dealer's lips moving when he told you that? If so, you know he was lying.

I don't think the dealer/salesman was lying in this case... he was just confused.
The NAV system is not available on the Enthusiast (which happens to come stock with 17" wheels). It is available on the Touring (most of which come with 18" wheels). So, 17" or 18" wheels, as long as you ordered the touring (which you say you have), you should be able to add the NAV.

I ordered a touring roadster w/ Nav. It has 17" wheels. Dealer asked me if I also wanted 18" wheels and I said no. Build date of 6/04
18" and Nav bundled in one package is BS.

Same here. I just picked up my 4.5 a few weeks ago with 17" wheels, 6MT, and factory Nav. You should be able to see on Nissans website exactly which trim option has which available options. This is your most reliable bet especially if you are ordering the car!

ditto.......I have a Touring Coupe w/17"s/with NAVI. When I was looking for my Z, 18" were not part of the touring package, and definitely had nothing to do with ordering NAVI...
