Yeah but look @ the numbers. .a ton more HP and only a tenth of a second faster or two/three tenths?

These ad campaigns are targeted at the average joe, not sports car enthusiasts. .

For the record I love the 370Z, it's beautiful and looks very aggressive but If someone offered me a Cayman right now or a 370Z, I'd take the Cayman.

The Nismo 370Z on the other hand. . .

less than 5% of people who buy these cars actually track them.

Not certain if this kind of advertising sells cars. Performance is quantitative, but there are also other qualitative characteristics that are significant.

I like the 370Z, but appreciate other enthusiasts who do not make the same choice.

I beg to differ. Over in the AutoX/Track thread on the other forum, there is a guy who posted a dash cam video and passing a cayman and some other cars thought to be faster, quite handily. Get on over there and find it.

Oh cool...........another 370>world thread. I can't even begin to compile a list of cars that I have beaten during an autox or passed in an HPDE........................and on the other side I care not to think about the cars that have beaten me or passed me in an HPDE. The above videos proves nothing.....other than one driver>than the other.

Nothing at all wrong with posting inspirational videos and articles on a designated 370Z thread. Congrats on being a track stud, not all of us have that opportunity, so seeing our chosen car doing well against cars that are supposedly superior, works as an excellent motivator and inspirational tool.

Obviously the brakes have been upgraded in addition to an oil cooler.
