they should have done it on pump gas instead of racing fuel... given that is what most will run
"Race exhaust", so probably no cats, race fuel and STD correction. I think they were doing everything they could to break 450/500. I'm guessing stock exhaust and 91 octane will get you to high 300's at the tire, maybe 400.

Yup. As mentioned earlier in this thread, the new Z made 379 wheel/375 TQ on ZCG dyno. Someone commented that it's inadequate by today's contemporaries but I would still argue that 80% of the drivers out there couldn't handle it anyways - see post above #1028 on the first wrecked Z34 Series II. Rude, but still laffing.
I've seen that dyno, AMS says these engines aren't as reliable near 600hp so some will say it's not enough.
Probably about 50ft-lbs is in fuel if not more.
That's the one I'll get. I always end up with Borla.

That's usually what happens with performance cars. The manufacturers give them to parts suppliers before they go on sale. Wouldn't have any parts at SEMA if they didn't. I'm guessing SEMA this year is going to have dozens of Z's in booths.
It's really not gonna be hard to make parts since the engine's been around a few years already getting modded so it's really just slight modification to what already exists.
It's not hard, but you still need an actual car to do it and they like having parts out when the car comes out for folks like me, who order parts while waiting for the F&I guy at the dealership to finish my paper work.
With the late rollout of the Z34B and the ridiculous DAP pricing, I've decided the new Z won't be gracing my garage this year. Maybe this'll change as the hype and greed fade in 2023 and on. But in the meantime, I'm going to keep driving my Z33 like I stole it...

Haha, I said I wouldn’t pull the trigger until a Nismo version was released but honestly, bored with it already. And I’m (still) yet to see one in the wild. But, in fairness, will see when actual Nismo version comes out but all of the testing and rumor shots haven’t been that impressive, IMO.
From our friends at JNC... OK, not the Nismo street version that we've been waiting for but an FIA GT4 trimmed racer is good news for the marque's racing cred. (And likely influence the Nismo street version but hopefully without the boy-racer wing that's functional on track; but just silly on the street, IMO. Laff.....)
