Default New-deciding Enthus or Touring

I'm new to the forum and I've been considering an '07 Z Roadster. I'm trying to decide on an Enthus or Touring. I'll probably add navi anyway so I was thinking about getting the Enthus and adding a new audio/nav unit. Does anyone have an Enthus and do you regret not getting the Touring? The Enthus doesn't have the heated seats, which I would like to have since I do use them in my current car, but is it worth it?

I have the Touring and like it very much. Re: the heated seats, I do use them in the spring and fall, if temps are between 40 and 60. I don't drive my ZR very much in the winter though, because I'm a cheapskate and haven't bought winter tires for it (it has the summer high-performance tires). I see you're in New Jersey, so if you plan to drive it in the winter, then definitely heated seats would be worth it.

Depending how long you want to keep it, you might consider re-sale value a little. I understand that the Touring model is the most popular and holds its value the best. If you plan on keeping it for more than 6 or 7 years though, that might not be a big issue for you.

Remember that the Touring has side-impact air bags, too. You hope you'll never have to use them, but you never know. I think paying a little extra for safety is always worth it, just for peace of mind factor. Everything else is a matter of convenience or personal taste, but the air bags could potentially save your or your passenger's life. Well worth the additional bucks.

I don’t know which model suits your needs, but I can tell you what members are driving.

David, is the "Grand Touring" included in the chart above in the "Touring" category?

Do you happen to have the breakdown between coupe and roadster?

I have Grand Touring numbers, but they are too small to add to the chart: maybe 1 percent. Sorry but no Coupe-Roadster breakdown. The important point is that Roadster owners pick leather over cloth by a margin of 2 to 1.

Well, or pick side-airbags over no side-airbags. It would be interesting to parcel out why people chose one of the other. For me, the airbags were point 1, leather heated seats point 2, fancier wheels didn't even register - they just happened to be on the car.

Why do you say that? Touring Roadsters have side airbags.
