OK... I have a 2004 350z Roadster, but Im not crazy about my interior door panels....Im trying to upgrade the interior....Does anyone know if I can put it door panels from an 06 which have that nice leather strip on them in my 04.. thanks

I think wicked cas makes interior upgrades for your door panels, which actually helps direction of the front speakers, improving sound. I remember there was a member here trying to sell them a long time ago.

 

I have seen 06 panels on earlier year models........the 06 are much nicer i agree..

there is a thread i have seen that had pics of them installed with questions answered, but i know its super old... best to search and find it.

check this website out http://www.gotuning.com and look in the 350z section. I think it's on 5-7 page (I can't remember) they actually take your door panels and add the leather and alcantara (sp?) with red Stitching or custom color of your choice. I'm getting my whole interior redone by them in a few weeks.

Yeah...i personally know alot of z owners who love their cars but arent thrilled with their interior.....ive been looking but i havent been able to find anything... This is actually my first thread =).... i dont want to commit the mistake of trying to paint my interior...although this pic is a sweet and expecisve alternative

 

My bad bro... I just saw you have an 04 and didn't read or must have skipped the 06 door panel part.

Yeah I don't like the interior either... which is the main reason I'm going with a full interior dress up.

It is possible.
I changed my 03 track.
The only thing you can reuse is the actual switches and the passenger door handle.
You will need to rig up a connector to the light that shines down when the door opens.. or replace the harness..
I can get you a pair.. not cheap tho'... may also find that controller box under the seat too...
