Hi,
I am about to purchase a Touring Roadster....and was wondering if the VDC (Vechicle Dynamic Control) is available with the Touring package?

The car I am looking at is a Touring Roadster with all other available options....I am not sure about the VDC though....

Is VDC not an option for either model Roadster?
Can I special order it?

VDC is not offered on the roadster you can only get it on the coupes.

 

I did a thourough search on the Nissan offical page....and I went to the design your own Roadster part....and on the left if you click on words:

" View all standard features "

Up comes a pop-window that lists all the "standard features"

and here is what it says and I quote......:

"Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)* - with 6-speed Manual Transmission Only"

Is this the standard options for the coupe.....?
I was on the Design the Roadster Option however....

that nissan website is really messed up. it gives confusing information. as far as i know you cannot get vdc with ANY roadster regardless of transmission. it isnt something that you could special order either.... again, as far as i know.

strange considering that you can only get it with the mt on the z and the g35 has it standard on the mt or at.

i think if you do a search on the standard equipment of the enthusiast roadster it says that it comes with leather seats. not sure if they fixed that yet or not.

 

The Nissan web site is neither easy to navigate nor accurate.

As far as I know there is no way to get VDC on the Roadtser. And that SUCKS because I relly wanted the VDC for bad weather days.

First no Pressure Sensors ... Now no VDC ... ?

... forget it, I'm not buying one until 2005 when they get they start adding options to the roadster.

 

Same here. I thought that if you ordered 6MT AND 18" wheels you also got VDC. However, none of the ones I checked had it. I actually thought I had it when I left the dealership, it was only when I started reading the manual and sticker that I noticed it wasn't there.
