Project: Nismo roadster
For the lights to come on when the car is running, but turn off when the headlights are on, I think this is what I used in my Maxima when I was running halos as DRLs in the fog lights.
The module detects the voltage of the battery and when it is in normal operating range of a running car (somewhere between 13-14 volts, I think), then it will turn on the LEDs. In order to have the LEDs turn off when the headlights turn on, you connect one of the "trigger" wires to the headlight bulb wire which switches the module off when it detects the voltage from the trigger wire, turning off the LEDs.
If you want the LEDs to stay on whenever you have started the car (regardless of the headlights being on or off), you can just leave the trigger wire unconnected. The module I linked also has the optional ability to turn off the LEDs with the turn signals.
OR, you could try a generic 4-prong relay and connect prong-86 to something that is only on when the car is on, like the accessory fuse, or something like that. Not sure if this would burn out the LEDs faster since LEDs don't like fluctuating current.

Well Gentlemen and Jennifer.....I finally found some Nismo rims with tires and in decent shape. They should be here in a week or so. They have some curb rash so I may get matching paint and fix em. Ill keep you all posted.
Seller has many transactions and a high positive feedback. However......buried in the long fine print description was the statement "no tires". Nine of the pics show tires...the other three show the center of the wheels. I feel this is deceptive and I brought this to Sellers attention. Seller said that there were no tires as per the description. I gave Seller the choice to either work it out with me amicably, or I would open up a case with eBay. I will await seller's response and act accordingly. I will also notify PayPal as well. In my experience of looking at Wheels, virtually all sellers show either a wheel with no tires or if tires are not included, it is very clearly indicated. In this case it was buried within the long description that no tires were included which would be extremely easy to overlook considering all the pictures showed tires on the wheels. Hopefully this works out quickly and easily
If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay? I mean if the price is right for those nismo wheels without tires then you aren't really getting scammed.
I paid $1700 for just the wheels, free shipping. At the moment Im negotiating with seller to refund me money. I asked him to ship the tires and seller refused saying that they may not be safe to drive on (whatever that means). Seller did not seem to know, but rather, seemed to guess. I then asked seller if they had any tires that size they could send, but seller said they did not have that size tires.
My last message to seller is as follows:
Hi - I am unhappy with the way this transaction is going because your ad was misleading. I showed the ad to several people and all agreed that your ad was clearly misleading. In addition, you have failed to make any suggestions to resolve the situation. I now need to purchase tires as a result of your misleading ad. Used tires will cost me at least $500 for these sizes, and an additional $100-120 to mount and balance. I would like a refund of $620. In exchange, I will leave positive feedback for you and I will not bring this matter to the attention of eBay and paypal. If this is unacceptable, I will not sign for the delivery of the wheels and they will be returned to you. I will also seek any remedy available to me, including opening a case with both eBay and paypal, and I will leave feedback in accordance with what has transpired. I will also seek any legal remedy available to me. I much prefer to resolve this in a friendly way so we can both go about our business. Please let me know how you wish to proceed.
I think that is reasonable. Any thoughts?
