Default How To Hard Wire a V1 to Your RV Mirror

Arrrggg.. I have been looking for days to find the link that describes how to hard wire the Valentine One to your rear view mirror power source. Especially if you get one of those cool mirror mounts. Has anyone seen these posts? Can you post the links please.

Thanks.

I ran the cable from the passenger side lighter plug under the dash, up the A panel and tucked inside the headliner. Ten minute job max ... and nine of that was soldiering the splices and doing the heat shrink. Very easy install.

Ok, you have to unclip the wire harness from the mirror and splice into 2 of the wires. 2 of them look the same and the 3rd looks different. The different one is the - and the 2 others are +. One of the + is constant power and the other + is on the ignition. You want the one wired to the ignition. I don't remember which one it is but a simple voltage tester will tell you...or you can just cut all of them like I did and try it. LOL
If you have any more ?'s just ask. I just did this a month or so ago without any more knowledge than the fact that it is possible to do. LOL
