looking into a Flip out head unit.....what do u perfer?...i dont want to spend a buttload but...a decent amount....1,500 the most
is Kenwood 717 any good or Alpine D310??
want sumthing i can hook navi up with in the future if i decide to do that down the road...so what should i do?

The top KWE HUs have awesome sound. Great VHUs are expensive, so I keep patiently waiting.
The compelling feature is 5.1 DVD-audio (if matched with amps & 6-speakers). For $1800 (woofersetc) this one will make you happy.

i cant find this...i went to Kenwood direct online and i cant find that headunit...did it even come out yet??Kenwood Excelon KVT-915DVD this is the model, right? i searched and still nothing....can sumone help me...

hmm interesting..i would love to have Eclipse but wayy too much for a headunit in my eyes...something in a decent price range...this is why i ask you guys...its between Alpine or Kenwood...anyone wanna tell me why i shoudl pick one over the other???
I am also in the market to upgrade my system....I am looking into the double din set up and not the flip out....I really don't like the flip out look. Anyways rx7/350z Do you have any pics of your kenwood HU installed?
