Default Did you...

Did you unplug the wire harness from the door to the chassis? If you did, then you may have bent a few of the tiny connectors that are inside the plug when you pushed it back together and the things that you describe aren't connected.. let me know...

yes if your refering to the door loom harness's, but why would the window go up once, rolls down fine but not go up? still same thing you think. i had a hell of a time getting that pass, side back on, theres zero room.

Default Theres your problem...

I did the same thing, and found that I bent a few wires, and door locks wouldnt work and windows wouldnt roll up. Carefully bend the ones back to straight, they have to be perfect, and very gently push the clip back together. it might take a few times. What ever you do, dont break any off. Be very gentle with them, and pry them with a tiny screwdriver. Good luck...PM me if you need any more help.

Default Also...

As always with an install problem, check all your related fuses, you may have shorted something when you rolled it up once then down..

That sounds like a switch problem. You might have to take the door panel off again and check the switch. Also make sure the drivers side is ok too, because it also has controls for the passenger side window, and locks.

Let me ask you this.. When you shut the door. You roll down the window as you say and it will not come back up. If you hold the switch and hit the door panel where the window motor is. Will it come up then.

i concurr that sounds like bent pinns in the molexplug on the chasis wher ehte stock wires pass through...

pull both the driver and passenger side, on most cars, if soemthing is messed up wtih the driver side, it can affect the passenger side as well...pull out hte FEMALE part of the plug , the side thats inside the car, and carefully shine a light on them to see if you have any bent pins...i am putting all my money on bent pins, and you have to carefully put them back in place...

i have dont this on one occassion a few years ago to another car, took me an hour to correct the problem, but you have to be careful and make sure the pinns are going in before pushing, cuase you bend it a few times too many and if one of htem snaps, then you are in trouble

thanks for the help guys. problem fixed, i pulled drivers side and there was one bent pin. i thought for sure that would be it. but it ended up being the pass side. the white portion of the plug that is in the interior. it has a catch on the top of it. it wasnt stuck or catching and not allowing enough contact? anyway fixed now, whew what a PIA.
