Take the battery cover off, then take off the plastic arount the cover, by removing the snaps. Then remove to plastic that goes up to the winshield behind the batt. You will then see a huge groment for running you wire. Make sure to silicone around your wire. Hope this helps

Default Use Bose Power cables for amp?

Has anyone tried to use the Blose power cables for a new amp?

There's already a distributor tap on the battery in my Touring model, I assume that lead goes to the Blose amp? If you run a new amp power cable, did anyone else pull out the Blose power cable, or do you just leave it?

I'd like to replace the amp with a JL 300/4... couldn't find a thread on this, thanks for the help.

Sorry guys, I'm not making myself clear. There is ALREADY a power cable there from my Blose system (I think), see pic. Has anyone tried to use this power cable to power a different amp?

thanks

Would not suggest using any of the stock cables or connecting it to any of those points. Stock cable size might be too small for aftermarket amps. Also those points are Fused and might blow with aftermarket amps.
