Question PAC SWI-ALP on 06. Anyone Try?

I bought the PAC SWI-ALP unit off ebay and the followed the guide here:
http://pac-audio.com/swixprogramming...ehicles&ID=400
Headunit is Kenwood DDX7017, used the remote control wire off the headunit to the PAC SWI ALP wire.

Wiring went fine, but after that programing was a different story. I haven't been able to get this thing to program the version right.

Any one have any experience with programming this thing? Are the instructions right or what? Feedback/advice appreciated!

THANK YOU. I'm glad I'm not the only one! But did you get their number by any chance?

Mine has the same problem. I'm currently waiting on a replacement interface, with hopes that the one we have is a just a bum unit.
