Oh brother here we go again!! The great debate rages on!!. Seriously though..everyone will give testimonials as to why the detector they have is the best. Long story short ( just so you know I own a V1) I like the V1 because you get the directional arrows, the range seems to be excellent and it can be upgraded (for a fee) as improvements are developed. The V1 runs about $300, but it well worth it IMO. Just my 2c

Maybe these threads from the last few months with "Radar Detector" in the titles might help, on the other hand they may just be filled with noob bashing for not searching.

Radar detector posts are pretty common here.

Everyone has their own opinion

Please use the search abilities.

Or people will make fun of you.

Some will even go so far as to be disrepectful

To me it's just a simple courtesy to use the search abilities of the site and then follow up with any other questions that you may still have.

It seems so funny how any question that has ever been posted previously to a question of the same matter is when long term forum members can't wait to flame (not saying you flamed me....you were very polite with suggesting to use the search option) a person for posting a question that has already been asked. So what. I am sure 90+ % of any question that is currently being asked has been talked about at some point or another. I thought that was the idea of a discussion forum.......to talk and re-talk the same mumbo jumbo. If I am taking up precious space with a repost then please let me know. I use the search option almost every time I am looking for answers to a particular item of discussion and honestly didn't want to search this question. If there would have been no replies of value is when I would have excersised the search. I have been a knowledgeable part of several discussion forums and usually when a worn-out question came across the boards....I just simply left it alone. My point is....not every question that comes through a discussion forum is a Ganged Banged piece of a$$ to every forum member. Besides, it's fun to prevoke arrogant $hits that get off on this sort of stuff.

Sorry but we do a radar thread about three times a month - see reference posts above. But honestly sure sounds like you need to be banned before you get your a$$ handed to you. Moderators?

Maybe if you would just tell me what you like or dislike about the V1 instead of trying to get me banned for sarcastically replying to a sarcastic reply then the thread starter would have his/her information and all would be great. OH NO.....Instead, let me tell you how bad you are in more words than it would take to give you my personal opinion of what you are asking. God forbid one have to repeat themselves.

The original links in my first post all had good info in them, if you read them and still have a question, post it.

On the other hand, I am beginning to think you looked for a popular topic just to get people worked up and slam you with your repost. If that is the case, move along, we don't need trolls here.

No, the lord forbid someone follow the site's suggestions or those of the dozen or so members that have suggested that you actually do the search and discover the first five times where I have stated the virtues of the V1 in great detail - no, you want it hand delivered to you. Sorry, not me. Never. I am not your servant. You'll not get help from me.

Rather than actually type the two whole letters into the sites wonderfully complete search engine ... click, V, 1, click ... tough tough life.

Where's the ignore button - congratulations.
