Ipod video playback
Im looking into that also. You can if you go the av-in route through the earphone jack but you will have to use the actual Ipod control's and your sound quality will suffer. I have the Kenwood ip-500 Ipod cable for my 6019 so I can use the HU control ,I tried it on my video Ipod with no luck yet ,audio file's on the other hand work fine.

1. Buy one of these cheap A/V wires off ebay that goes through the headphone output of the ipod:

2. For source select ipod, select video file to play/
3. Go back to source and select the video input, to your ipod a/v.
Just toying with this idea though.

on the ipod screen and you can not use the control's, and the HU will
not get you to the video's, I even started a movie just for audio and
plugged it in and the HU started playing my mp3 audio file's. Looks to me like the only way is to use the actual ipod controls to play video's for now.
I watch my Ipod on my Eclipse DVD/Nav unit all the time. My passengers love it when they can watch a whole season of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" on a long trip.
Edit: It is a little annoying that I have to use the Ipod controls instead of my HU controls.

I've been thinking about somehow intergrating the cubby area.
ive looked into it a little bit and my answer was never clear. some people say since the screen is so small it will be really blurry and not look good. some have thrown down the classic why not. i would like to know a legit answer as well.

It looks very good, I tried it out on my 50" big screen so Im sure it will look great on a 7" monitor.
