Default what are your options with my install

Friends,

I have a Kenwood amp kac 8452 and a 6019 dual din head unit. I bought high end front component speakers to connect it.
I have a couple of questions in regards to the proper wiring the system to get the best used of power from the amp and the head unit.
I must mention the following before I can post my question. The amp can be bridge to two or three channels. I want to use the big amp to power the front speakers only and maybe later I might leave room in the amp to use it for a small woofer.

This is the questions:

Can I use the receiver head unit to just power the rear speakers?

I welcome thank you for any impute in regards to this question.

George from Pasadena

Yes as long as you are not using a component set in the rear.

You can use the headunit to power the rear speakers.

If you are using the factory rears, they will not be timbre matched to the fronts, so keep the faded out so they don't discolor the sound from your new components in the front. You really shouldn't even be able to tell that they are there (rears).

Your welcome. Are you using the factory speakers in the rear or are you replacing them?

I was thinking in keeping them. I might buy a set.
