Default Pioneer Help--How do I transfer my iTunes songs to a 2G flash USB?

I want to know what I have to do to transfer the data to the USB stick so if I play songs on the AVIC-D3 (w/ cd-ub100 adapter) it will show up on the unit.

I assume you are experiencing a problem (or maybe just asking how to do this). Could you elaborate (more description)?

I am getting ready to install the Avic-d3 and I want to purchase the cd-ub100 for added flexability so I don't always have to use my iPod. I want to be able to transfer all my data to the usb but before i sink anoth 130.00 just wondering what I need to do so it will play (and I know it works) when I connect it to the D#.

I thought I-Pod/I-Tunes files were protected.. thus only allowing you to play them in I-Tunes or on an I-Pod? I usually just convert my m4p/m4a files to mp3 as soon as i buy them.

yea i dont think you can go from Ipod to another drive. they have it set up where you can only transfer songs to your ipod or delete them. if you want songs on an external drive, you will have to import them from the hard drive of your comp or rip them from a cd, etc..

Don't you just drag and drop it into your Memory Stick (should be a visible drive once it's plugged in). That's how SD and Sony works.

I "copy" then "paste" to a music folder whic I created on the stick. I did by each song but I don't know if this is correct. Any specific instr. would be great!
