Where to run 0ga wire through firewall
#21
ditto, if there was ever a case of power wire inducing noise through SPEAKER wires, i have yet to see it in all my years...i have seen for some odd reason passiver xover induce noise, perhaps due to a fault wit hthe xover, but speaker wires? not a chance.

sorry to bump an old thread, but what type of silicone seal would be good to seal up an opening where the rubber boot in the firewall is? my installer didnt do a good job when running a wire through and now water actually leaks through on a heavy rainy day!
the rubber boot is slightly torn and i can see where water would go in. i just need to have it securely sealed off because the passenger side floor had some water build up recently. any help is appreciated!
