i need a high-end alarm system
My girlfriend lives in a development allllll the way in the back where it's nice and dark and shady and people steal ****. Last night was the second time someone has parked near my car and was sitting there for a while. Honestly, I think he was just picking up drugs, but nevertheless i want a hooked up alarm system ASAP.
I want something that has one of those little pagers that goes on your keychains so I will know my alarm is going off from inside an apt that is like 100-150 yards away from the car. That part is the most important, so I can jump out of bed, grab a tire iron, and get to him as soon as humanly possible.
Help please, I'm in love with my car!

The wisest investment would probably be Compustar or DEI. Although Compustar is pretty strict on dealer only support, you might find it easier to get access to DEI brands, since they are carried by both big boxes and B&M shops. DEI currently comprises more than half a dozen reputable alarm brands including Clifford, Viper, Python, Hornet, Avital, etc. All of these alarms will share the same parts and components, and all of them will offer 2 way paging 1 mile range alarms. Take a look at the Viper 5900sst, Clifford 50.5x, or Python 990.
A wiser decision would be move your girl friend or your car!
Most people who own Z's aren't the types of people to confront possibly armed felons in the commission of grand theft auto. Come to think of it, most people shouldn't confront armed felons - exceptions made for those with badges, night vision, helicopters, warrants, and armed partners.
A scarecrow alarm - a bunch of blinking LED lights - will go a long way to making the crack head bust the car window of the next car over. So will a USMC sticker on the back. If you're afraid that they're going to defeat the Nissan ignition lock and steal your whole ride get a gas line cut off or secondary ignition kill switch.
A silent car alarm will only get you killed. You want something visible and noisy. I have more AR-15's then a rifle squad and wouldn't want to confront a high half-crazy felon to gun him down over a stupid car. My life would be run through the ringer and $25,000 later at trial I might get set free if my lawyer does a good enough job and I get the right jury. My insurance deductible is less than my life is worth.
Don't bring a tire iron to a gun fight.
If you're looking to run into stupid armed people to get your *** shot I can think of a whole lot easier ways.

Like I said, most likely, some dude's pickin up some weed or something and they're chillin in the car, but I'm not taking any chances.

Otherwise, find a reputable installer who knows their alarms. Ask them simple questions on what will be installed and how the alarm works. Make sure he doesn't skimp out on connections like the hood or trunk pin. Make an appointment in the morning and give them plenty of time to work on your car. An alarm is only as good as the install.
Also, I agree, don't be confrontational over your car (I didn't really read that part, just the alarm), it's not worth the trouble. The wisest choice is to get insurance or a manual starter kill. However, an aftermarket alarm makes a decent deterrent and does have it's convenience. If it's being tampered with, you do have a chance to call the cops (if they could get there in time).
