Default Best front speakers for under 300/pr??

I am going to do a full stereo upgrade, I am putting in a 10 JL sub, but don't know what to use for the front speakers.

Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 component set is about as good as it gets when it comes to sound quality. There are other speakers designed for High SPL (really loud), but if you want something to accurately reproduce music then these are a safe bet.

Check ebay, i saw these going for around $225.

(got mine through accomodation for $187 )

the best for that range is hte infinitys (like mentioned) and Alpine type-R. I was in the same situation (budget) and will be getting the alpines, the mid-bass is awesome and highs are a little less bright than the infinitys (which is a personal preference thing).

retail is about $300 or so, Ebay has them at about $129

I don't know how they sound but JL XR650-CSI components go for about $269 a pair.

Diamond Audio HEX Series components! You should be able to grab a set for about that much on eBay if you keep your eye on them! All of my highs/mids are Diamond! Look into S600s kit, sound amazing!

Or I second the above....CDT has some nice ones also! I listened to both and ended up with the S600s though

I've been looking into this as well. I had the reference MBQuarts in my Z32 and was pleased with them -- but they lacked a little in the mid to mid-bass frequencies that made the vocals sound a little higher than needed.

Infinity might be the way to go for me.
