First Look: KPtechnologies Push Button Start
This is really not cool that all these "beta testers" signed up to be the first ones and they don't even install it. It's been THREE WEEKS now.
Thats not right.
So the rest of us who would have installed it weeks ago can't buy one because the "me first" crowd won't give kp any feed back.
Weak.

I have heard back from two people now, one guy has it working great, the other guy is having some issues that we think are hardware related. Later this week I'm going to send him a replacement module and hopefully his will be working.

You could technically use an S2000 button but you would lose functionality and indication (the Altima has 3 status LEDs on it that the module uses to inform the driver of current conditions).
How do you become a beta tester?
I volunteer to become one but idk if im credible enough since I just joined this site.
But then again, I am sure I can do way better than a bunch of testers you guys had!!!

We only offer beta testing to a limited amount of people. I've heard back from most of them now, still waiting on some write ups and pictures to be posted from any of them.
No, we haven't found a suitable 'key' for the system yet. There are many pros and cons of various possibilities.
We also, of course, are trying to do something that is reasonably priced, so some options are simply out of our budget for such a system.
