First Look: KPtechnologies Push Button Start
Kwame, I got your Email, I will respond very soon. I am still working on the final firmware upgrades. I'm pretty confident at this point I have all the code written, I just need to move some of it around to work more efficiently.
I also still need to actually calibrate all the different thresholds for the tach programming routine.
Once that is done I'll test 2 more modules with people and then it will be done. I'm hoping to have the modules ready to go by the end of this weekend.
It doesn't really matter if it is a stick or an auto - but if it is a stick you will need to hold the clutch it, push the brake down, and then push the start/stop button in order for it to start (ie it doesn't bypass the clutch safety switch).

just a lazyness question ...do u HAVE to press press on the brake as well? if so could this be bypassed? -- once this is all done i want dibs! lol it comes with everything for install right?
I don't like to put time frames on things because we rely on individuals to provide feedback and we have no control on how timely they provide feedback. I still haven't heard back from any of the stage 2.5 testers. We don't release anything until we are confident that we won't have any major issues.
That being said, we ARE close to being ready.

Nice meeting you at Alum Creek Kevin... Kevin makes some amazing products guys and he's a great guy himself. Keep me in the loop if you make it to your stage 3 push button start... i'm very interested in that whenever it comes along.
I installed the "final" 2.5 version this morning in my car, after a LONG day of debugging yesterday. I uncovered an unknown bug that had been in the firmware sine the 2.0 version. It took me the better part of yesterday to identify it and fix it.
I have a bit more tweaking to do in the calibration of the unit, but that should be done by tonight. I will then contact the two testers I have in mind (people who have been interested in this product from the beginning) and see if they are willing to help.
I would hope that by June 1st these will be available to the public, and hopefully 4-5 months later the stage 3 add on will be available.

Sorry, I've been focusing on some other products and testing is always slower then I think it will be. I know SFLG35 has the latest version, and I have the latest version in 2 cars. I'm trying to line up my own local testers, including an RX7 and one other car.
Moving forward with testing - Installed one on a '94 Mazda RX-7 last night:

It works just as designed!

One of my other testers is sending back his Version 2 pb start to have it upgraded to a version 2.5. While that is being done, I would love to do one more local install on a non Nissan vehicle just to make sure it works (might end up using a Mustang just for reference, as I haven't done one on an American car yet).
I also am working on lining up one other test vehicle - an old school hotrod that is pretty much custom built from the ground up. After these tests are done we'll be ready to go. Since the testing relies on other people and their schedule its hard for me to put a date on this. My goal is to have it released with enough summer left for people to buy it and install it and enjoy it!
