First Look: KPtechnologies Push Button Start
The PB50 should be on our website by Jan 1st. In the mean time if you want to purchase one shoot me an Email through the KPtechnologies site - we have units in stock and ready to ship.
The IG50 module is moving rapidly through development, but still hasn't been installed in a car. There is one last little hiccup we are working out with the communications between the two modules. Once that is done testing will begin!

Update!
I just got done installing the first IG50 - making my G35 almost completely keyless.
I say almost because I don't have the transponder bypass to bypass the OEM system. You can buy one for $20 or you can actually make one with a relay and some wire. I also still have the mechanical wheel lock that prevents me from turning the steering wheel. I will most likely (although not 100% sure) completely bypass it in the near future.
I must say the system is pretty impressive - it provides feedback once the RFID chip is read, it gives the driver the ability to turn on the ignition and accessory, just the accessory, or start the car, and it adds something these cars should have already had - a RAP system (this is the system that leaves the radio on until a door is opened).
As much as I didn't want to do it, I did have to make some software changes to the PB50 Push Button Start module. We don't have a large amount of them distributed yet so it shouldn't be a huge issue. The current processor is socketed and can be updated rather easily.
I will continue to test this in my car and install one in one of my other vehicles just to make sure I haven't overlooked anything. It's impossible to say right now when this will be ready, but its getting closer and closer each day.
Here is a video of everything in action (9 meg file)!

Omg, that's sick! MUST HAVE! haha With the change to the PB50 does that mean the people with those modules will have to send them back to be to be reflashed? Either way yay! How much will the IG50 cost and about how hard is it to install?
i'd be interested in a system without the key in the ignition, and where the range on the RFID were more like the fob could be anywhere in the car (lets call it 4-6') and i could start the car. I'd be super interested if it locked the car once the fob left the range. similar to how i described it previously.
I am pleasantly suprised at the power to accessories until the door is popped feature. very nice.

It is an all Flash website so you need to make sure you have the latest version of Flash installed. Other then that I'm not sure why it wouldn't work, but I will pass it on and see if we can find out if there is something wrong.

I got the OEM security bypass installed tonight - I can now start the car with no key at all! I still haven't attempted to eliminate the mechanical wheel lock. I took a look and it appears that it will be a fun little project.
I will shoot a new video and display it soon!

1. Is this for the keyless start?
2. when you say bypassed does this mean that the module is acting as the security lock for the key?, or does that mean its completely bypassed? if any of that makes sense.

The security bypass goes with the KPtechnologies IG50 (Ignition Control module). The IG50 allows RFID based control of the ignition system. With the use of the security bypass I can start the car with no key. The OEM transponder is only bypassed when the IG50 starts the car - when the system isn't active the OEM transponder isn't bypassed.

No key required to start the car! I still have the mechanical wheel lock but that is the only preventing me from having a complete aftermarket keyless push button start system!
We will start field testing the IG50 in the next couple days!
