Default Should I replace bose system?

my driver side speaker keeeps cuting in and out sometimes as well as the sub. Its very annoying and just starting to get to me. I know Bose is suppose to be very good. But i was wondering weather i should replace the system with a aftermarket system (JL) or just buy all new stock bose speakers...feedback is needed, thanks

Personally I like the sound of the stock Bose system, its all I need, I’m done with the 1000 watt systems that make me go def.

so really its all in your preference

well I doubt its your speakers that are causing the problems. It is most likely the amp and if its not covered under warranty you could get a nice start on a new system for what it would cost to replace that.

Regardless of sound quality of the bose system I would look to replace it if it was giving me problems like you describe.

I am not sure how much you are going to have to spend to get a better sound than that of the bose system.

my main issue with my Bose system is that the CD player skips every CD I put into it, even brand new ones.

I wonder if one of those radio shack cd cleaner discs with the brushes on them to clean the lens will work to fix the problem? Any ideas or past experiences with that guys?

^^ Anyone using a CD/DVD player as primary AV is a target for stuff like this. They figure that if you are using old technology, you’re likely to “bite”

Do not be a “victim.”

i'm sure the bose is not ideal for music with tons of bass. But i enjoy it and I think it sounds pretty nice for stuff I listen to.

If you care about good sound and being happy with the music quality, change out all the BOSE shat.

So there is no real way to get rid of the skipping or fading if you want to keep your bose system?

^^ If you still under warranty, take it to your Nissan dealer for a repair/swap.

If you are past warranty, pull all of it and install a decent CES.

Bose makes good components, but the better components from Bose are not inside your Z.

Are there decent head units I can put in and still use with factory speakers and sub?
